Learn how to use Greenroot pots & planters

Assembling the planters

Understanding the design of the plant pot wall and correctly assembling the Greenroot planter is essential for your plants to get the full benefits from the system. The shape of the container has been carefully refined over many years of trials, ensuring that the plant develops the best possible root system. Supplied and delivered as a combination of a flat sheet (wall) along with the suitable base and essential screws. It takes a few seconds to assemble them. These containers are easy to store for future use as well.

STEP 1. Keep the sheet on a flat surface and make sure the sharp edged cones are facing towards you.
STEP 2. Keep the Base between two rows of sharp edged cones. Wrap the sheet around it in such a way that it overlaps itself.
STEP3. Lock the sheet with screws provided. Please watch the video for live demo. Generally three screws are enough for a pot but extra screws are provided for the bigger sizes.

The GreenRoot planters container is just one part of a total growing system. To reap all its potential benefits it is essential to use a suitable compost mix and give the plant sufficient water. Lack of aeration and poor drainage are big problems when growing in traditional containers. However no such problems exist with the Greenroot Pot system. Increased oxygenation means that the compost can be compacted in the containers without becoming anaerobic. More compost means more nutrient for the plant.
